Plate Bonding Process In Acrylic Plate Product Processin
The bonding of acrylic plate is a very critical process link in the processing of acrylic products. How to show the clear and transparent characteristics of acrylic, reflect the sense of value of acrylic handicrafts, and maximize the grade and taste of acrylic handicrafts plays a very important role.
The adhesion of acrylic plate is mainly affected by two aspects: one is the applicability of the adhesive itself; The second is the technique of bonding.
At present, there are many adhesives in the domestic and foreign markets, mainly including two types: one is a two-component adhesive, such as universal adhesive and epoxy resin; There is also a single component, such as CCL3 (chloroform). Generally speaking, the two-component adhesive is bonded by curing reaction, and the single component adhesive is bonded by the final volatilization of a solvent.
The two-component adhesive is characterized by good bonding effect, no bubbles, no whitening and high strength after bonding. The disadvantages are complex operation, difficulty, long curing time, slow speed, and difficulty in adapting to the requirements of mass production. While the general one-component adhesive is characterized by fast speed and can meet the process requirements of mass production, the disadvantage is that the bonded products are easy to produce bubbles, white and poor weather resistance, which directly affects the external beauty and product quality of acrylic products. Therefore, in the processing of acrylic products, how to choose a suitable adhesive to improve the grade and grade of acrylic products, It is a big problem that must be solved first in the bonding process.
In addition, the bonding skills are also very important. The following is a brief analysis of their practical operation experience on several common bonding processes.
1. Docking
Place the two acrylic plates to be butted horizontally on the operation platform, close them, and stick an adhesive tape at the bottom, leaving a gap of no more than 0.2mm wide for adhesive application.
Use a syringe to evenly and slowly inject the adhesive from one side into the gap until it is fully filled. After it is completely cured, remove the adhesive tape.
2. Facade bonding
Facade bonding is the most widely used bonding technology, which is widely used in making various acrylic products.
First, clean the surface to be bonded.
It is better to use a mold to achieve bonding, so that the bonded object does not shake, which is conducive to improving the quality of bonding.
For the bonding of acrylic plates with a thickness of 3mm, fine metal wires can be inserted, and the bonding can be completed by capillary action. The metal wires can be pulled out before the adhesive is cured, or the adhesive tape can be used and then the adhesive is applied.
3. Bevel bonding
The bonding slope must use a 90 degree angle and other master to prevent the displacement of the bonded surface.
The adhesive shall be applied evenly and slowly.
The master can only be removed after it is completely cured.
4. Surface bonding
Plane bonding is a special bonding method.
First, wipe the surface to be adhered, place it horizontally, and inject an appropriate amount of adhesive on it.
Place one side of another acrylic plate obliquely on the acrylic plate contacting the adhesive coated, and then put it down evenly and slowly to drive out the bubbles from one side to complete the bonding.
Acrylic adhesive can erode the surface of acrylic plate and leave traces that are difficult to remove. Therefore, non dry adhesive tape can be used to protect the parts that do not need to be bonded.
Grease, dust or air holes will hinder the uniform application of the adhesive and leave bubbles.
Excessive small amount of adhesive will bring air into the bonding shrinkage.
Direct blowing will make the edge of the bonding surface white due to volatilization of the adhesive.
Indoor humidity, temperature and so on have a direct impact on the bonding of acrylic plates
